July 26th, 2016

Halle Pratt, from the Calgary Aquabelles, took first place in the technical figures event on April 27, 2016, the opening day of the Shiseido Canadian Open Synchronized Swimming Championships held at Talisman Centre in Calgary.

She was awarded a combined score of 78.2540 for her 4 figures, while Andrée-Anne Côté from Québec Excellence Synchro came second with 77.0870. Emily Armstrong followed at 76.0330 and, as a Regional Training Centre – Ontario entry, shares her third position with Calgary Aquabelles club member Cassandra Winkelaar, who had 75.1710.

Figures scores are all-important in junior competitions as they are added to all routine marks and count for 50% of the final scores.
